Abstract

There’s always a sense of wonder when I walk into libraries. Treasures waiting to be found—words, ideas, imagination printed on books—a magical place. There’s the smell of old, dust gathering on shelves. Yet the layer of dust covers the possibility of new. Words are printed, they happened in the past, but the new awaits with every opening of a book and new reading of wor(l)ds. Each reading, each body that engages with pages creates something new. A new understanding, interpretation, reconfiguration.
