Abstract
Over decades the academy has provided predominately theoretically based studies in media and media production. The industry has provided much of its own education and training. In recent time these two approaches have become increasingly irrelevant. I will address, through a contemporary model, how these two disconnected spaces have found common ground and relevance for students and industry alike.
