Abstract

This chapter describes the regulation and scope of practice of accredited exercise physiologists (AEPs) in Australia. It outlines where AEPs fit in the health care system, and how AEPs engage in multidisciplinary practice. It provides a brief history of the profession, given that it is one of the new entrants into allied health.
