Abstract

In 2005, Griffith University's Information Services conducted research to determine how librarians contribute to information literacy in practice, and to identify their beliefs regarding information literacy. The project revealed a strong understanding of information literacy theory but a gap between the rhetoric and the activities being undertaken.
