Abstract
After almost 40 years of continuous production and a 10-month review of its operations, paper manufacturer Paperlinx announced in December 2009 that its paper manufacturing division, Tas Paper – based at the large-scale Wesley Vale Pulp and Paper Mill in northwest
Tasmania – would cease operations. This article outlines the remediation of the site prior to closer.
