This chapter looks at the sensitivities necessary to engage in respectful and productive research work with Australian Aboriginal youth. Drawing from a larger study on the breadth of the educational life-worlds of Indigenous youth, the chapter focusses on the use of visual research strategies and approaches, particularly photo elicitation.
