Technology plays an important role in helping organizations to maintain control and take advantage of opportunities in a highly competitive and increasingly complex business environment. Cloud computing offers access to computing power, storage, software, storage, and other services for customers and provides remote data centres through the web. This research aims to investigate the policy that required for the adoption of cloud computing. The research employed in-depth interviews with IT managers from selected local government councils in Australia. The research aims to contribute to specific policy in the adoption of cloud computing.
