Abstract

To understand and appreciate Drysdale's drawings my first goal then has to be to get past this sense of 'knowing with knowledge'. Through this essay I have attempted to understand my prejudices and to work out strategies to overcome them, firstly through contextual knowledge and then through the artworks themselves
