Abstract

This paper reports on a mature research in progress that is aimed at strengthening the leadership capacity amongst NFP (not-for-profit) providers in Australia's aged and community care sector. The research began in 2010 and is now in its final stages. This paper presents the background to the research including issues of leadership development in NFP organisations. It also reports on findings of focus groups involving key managers and executives within the industry partner organisations.
