Abstract
[Abstract]: Because the Internet has become the infrastructure of e commerce, more and more data sources are distributed over the Internet. How to effectively integrate the data has become a hot research topic. This paper discusses fundamental methods: global as view and local as view. Then we build hierarchical global schema repositories to effectively integrate all heterogenous data sources to form an integrated system for Internet-based e-commerce. A three-tier architecture has been proposed to organise the global schema repositories. Finally we discuss how to use XML to build these repositories
