Abstract
The article provides teachers and students with a selection of calculus problems in the senior secondary and upper tertiary level. They include the Wallis product along with the Vieta formula. Another is the Shapiro inequality that was proved in general form by Russian mathematician Vladimir Drinfeld nearly 20 years ago. It is noted that the calculus problems demonstrate diversity of calculus ideas, different concepts and topics. Since the 17th century, basic ideas of calculus have undergone significant development.
