Abstract
Although these applications have been published before, the aim here is to provide tutorial information in a workshop environment. Examples include simple vision guidance, shape analysis by simple means and by s-psi encoding of the boundary, the use of DirectX filters for image acquisition and processing and standalone camera hardware including the use of embedded processing power.
