Description
Hebel 121 gallery in Basel, Switzerland is a private gallery that runs site specific projects. The focus of the gallery is on exhibiting international artists who produce work within a reductive art aesthetic that expand upon traditional ideas of painting and sculpture creating site specific installation. This exhibition was a group exhibition which showcased international artists who have exhibited with the gallery. The artwork produced for this exhibition was concerned with investigating the connection between formal (hard edge) and informal (biomorphic / intuitive) methodologies of abstraction through the construction of space.
