Abstract

This is the paper of the invited reply to the address by Stephen Shaeffe on 'Dundalli - ruthless murderer or resistance fighter? a story of racial conflict and Aboriginal resistance in the 1840s'. It was given at a joint seminar of the Queensland Supreme Court Library and the Royal Historical Society of Queensland, 25 Feb 2005.
