Abstract

The major purposes of the study were to examine the attitudes of Michigan agriscience teachers toward various aspects of making their curriculum more internationally focused, and to examine the differences in attitudes between Michigan agriscience teachers who received the IAEP instructional materials. The design of the study was descriptive survey research. The target population consisted of 168 secondary school agriscience teachers who were teaching in 1991. Data were collected by mail questionnaire during April 30 to June 10, 1991 and resulted in a 88% response rate. Overall respondents demonstrated favourable attitudes toward making their curriculum more internationally focused. The teachers who received IAEP instructional materials had significantly more favourable attitudes.
