Abstract
[Abstract]: The experiment described in this paper provides students the opportunity to study the Physics of electromagnetic radiation and its interaction with the physical environment and also illustrates that Physics exists outside the school laboratory. The amount of solar ultraviolet radiation in tree shade is measured at different times of the day and compared with changes in illumination levels and temperature.
